As we are preparing for Alfred, the one-eye giant, tropical cyclone, heading our way towards South East Queensland, I’ve been feeling this amping up mixed energy of tension, anxiety and restlessness in the air, and I’m sharing some hints how to handle these feelings if you are involved.
Air element is volatile, no grounds to hold on to, unexpected and when it’s mixed with strong, cyclonic, damaging winds, it might obviously cause fear in some. We can’t control it, we can’t influence it, we just wait till it’s gone or do some self-reflection in the meantime...

If this is something that causing you inner pressure and fear, this might be a good time to reflect upon the memories it might bring up:
When did you feel powerless in your life?
When did you feel out of control?
What situations have you been going through in your childhood when things just happened around you but you couldn’t do anything, you were just in the middle of a heavy, emotional tornado and you could only sit it out till it was over, without being able to do anything against it?
When did you feel deep fear, tension, stress or even anger within your little childhood self towards others, but you didn’t feel safe to express that?
When did you feel unsafe or insecure in your life, what emotions do those memories bring up?
These are all emotions connected to Root Chakra blockages/challenges in our lives… And what do we need in case of strong winds?! Strong grounding, strong roots like a tree!
HOW TO STAY STRONG IN NATURAL DISASTERS, OR IN CHALLENGING TIMES:
When the winds/challenges are approaching, reflect upon old memories and emotions consciously when you felt similar in your childhood, take some deep breathes and let those go by the clearing energy of breath, to create space for new, vibrationally higher and more aligned versions of your current self.
When the wind is strong, what do you need to keep inner peace and calmness? Imagine growing roots through your feet to the centre of the Earth, breathe deeply, and allow your grounding to support you. Visualise your roots, make them wide, thick, deep - BE LIKE A TREE, standing strong in whatever situation is around them. We don’t see the roots of a tree, yet we know they are supported through the ground by Mother Earth.
To support these mediative visualisations, I share three Frequency Healing recordings, which proved to be helpful emotionally and energetically in challenging times (not my creations, sharing from YouTube):
For grounding: Didgeridoo Meditation and Root Chakra healing
For anxiety: Throat Chakra clearing
In case you have a Schumann resonance tuning fork from Lightness of Being - use that:
on your feet, legs, hips, lower back (for grounding)
chest, shoulders, neck, head (for releasing stress)

Stay Safe everyone, and if you need deeper emotional work, I am here for you when the storm is gone.
May this wind bring us good change!
